Whirlpool–Front Loading Washing Machines

January 30, 2011.

Stevensons LLP has commenced a class action lawsuit concerning front-loading automatic washing machines. Certain front loading washing machines may suffer from design or manufacturing defects that lead to the formation of mould and mildew on the inside of the machines, which can damage clothes and produce foul and noxious odours.

If you purchased a Whirlpool Duet, Whirlpool Duet Sport, Whirlpool Duet HT, or Kenmore HE front-loading washing machine from 2001 to 2008 and have had problems with mould, mildew, or related odour problems, this class action lawsuit seeks compensation on your behalf and you may be entitled to participate. Please print out and complete our questionnaire.

The certification motion in this class action has been adjourned to February 28, 29 and March 1, 2012 to allow further expert evidence to be filed.
